My friend Carl and I designed and built two strips of ultrabright
light-emitting diodes (LEDs) that were mounted on my arms and
controlled by a tiny computer. The computer has a bunch of sequences
programmed into it, and I can change sequences and change properties
of the patterns (like intensity, speed and color) with pushbuttons
Velcro-ed to my fingers. The computer can also measure how fast I tap
one of the buttons, so I can tap the button to the beat of the music and
the LEDs will synchronize themselves with the beats.
